Mecca or Makkah Al-Mukarramah is a major city in Saudi Arabia. In the Qur'an, this city also called by 11 different names, Among these are called Bakkah, Al-Balad,Ummul Qura, Al-Balad Al--Amin, Al-Qaryah,Al-Baldah, Masy'aril Haram,Haraman Amin, Al-Bassah, Al-Bassaq, and An-Nasaasah. The city is the main destination of the muslim in the pilgrimage in this city,there is a main building called Masjidil Haram with the Kaaba in it.

The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Province is one of the administrative regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which includes several cities within it. The seat of government is in the city of Makkah, led by Prince Khalid Al-Faishal bin Abdul Azis Alu Sa’ud.
The city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah (Umm al-Qura) is located west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This area is considered to have a very complicated geological structure.

The city of Makkah is located at an altitude of more than 300 meters above sea level. This city is the third most populous city in Saudi Arabia. The area of ​​Makkah City has reached 6.5 hectares.

The city of Makkah is located in an Arab Shield formation formed from ancient basic rocks that form part of the mountains surrounding the city. These mountains cover most of Makkah City, the rest are covered by several valleys.

Medina also transliterated as Madīnah, is the capital of the Al-Madinal Region in Saudi Arabia. At the city's heart is al-Masjid An-Nabawi  which is the burial place of the islamic prophet,Muhammad . Medina is one of the two holiest cities in Islam, the other being Mecca.

"Medina is a haram land between Air Mountain and Tsawr. Whoever does evil in it or protects an evil person will get damned from Allah, angels, all human beings, and Allah will not receive a shred of his good. Haram cuts its plants, hunts its animals, and takes abandoned items except to save it. No one is allowed to raise a sword and fight in it or cut grass except to feed camels, "(HR. Bukhari).

MADINAH is the place where the Prophet Muhammad died. This city became the second foothold city for Rasulullah SAW after Mecca. Although the pilgrimage destination is clearly the city of Mecca, Medina has become another destination that is no less encouraging for Muslims around the world.

There are many privileges of the City of Medina, including:

1. Allah made Medina the correct entry point. "And say (Muhammad), O my Rabb, put me in the correct place of entry and take me to the correct place of exit," (Surat al-Isra ': 80)
2. Madinah is recommended to the Prophet . "As your Rabb told you to leave your house with the truth," (Surat al-Anfal: 5)
3. Allah SWT chose Medina as a place of emigration, a place to live, and the place of the Prophet's death.
4. Allah SWT made Medina the birthplace of Islam.
5. The Messenger of Allah prayed that he could love Medina as he loved Mecca or more than that.
6. Medina is given the name Thaibah and Thabah (good and fertile). Allah is the name of Medina by that name. This is a glorification of Allah for the city that is loved by the Prophet .
